Harnessing the Power of Gaming for Social Good

We believe it is time to build a new marketing channel grounded in purpose that makes it possible to reach, engage with and mobilize a youth audience worldwide.
How? By responsibly harnessing the power of gaming as a platform for companies to engage with the next generation of consumers, employees, and partners and to help to achieve meaningful social change.

WIN^3

We see a future where gamers can earn a living and give back to society, all within the game. We see real-world outcomes achieved in a three-way partnership between purpose-driven corporations, leading NGOs tackling the most pressing social issues, and a community of gamers motivated to help themselves and to change the world.

Small pivots. One letter. Different outcomes.

We can shape each other, as we learn from each other to create the best experience within the game and create the type of society we all desire outside it. We won’t describe it with yesterday’s language, such as “Corporate Social Responsibility”, which implies it is the corporation’s duty to be responsible. It is top down instead of bottom up. We’ll refer to this new approach as “Our Social Responsibility”, since it is all of us who either choose to make a difference or not. It is a collective effort where all stakeholders step up and take ownership of making a difference. CSR gives way to OSR.

Two existing game mods have been developed as an early proof-of-concept. The Saudi GTA Mod in particular has repeatedly proven its value as a proof-of-concept resource with respect to government officials (DHS, State Dept, and Global Engagement Center) as well as contacts in private industry.  Younger female gamers have also responded very favorably to the existing Saudi GTA mod that we have developed.
